Posted by: Paul Zawertany (ID *****8198) Date: September 05, 2012 at 19:12:42   of 12475 my grandfather daniel came to this country before ww.1. According to family. He came here himself thru canada. But looking on ancestry.com there are several other males with the same last names. Two others came into the states thru canada. Ive seen several references to my last name in several old newspapers online. The biggest shock was a obit for a paul zawertany in springfield mass. Dec 9th 1940. AND a zawertany with a unlisted number in ny city!!!! I guess what im saying is those other zawertanys on ancestry have to be related to me in some way.
