Dentist to the Tsar
Sergei (Sergey) Kostrisky (Kostrinsky) was my great-great grandfather. We believe that he was the father of Vera Kaplanov who married Lazar Moishe Lachman MD who were friends (or servants) of the Rominovs.
My question is which Tsar did Kostrisky the dentist practice? Also, if anyone knows or can look up information on Sergei Kostrisky, please write to me and let me know what information you may know.
Our family has an old piece of paper with some information on it, such as the city where my grandfather was born, but there is another city on that paper, Smolensk.I suspect that Lazar Moishe Lachman practiced medicine there in the 1800's.
Lazar Moishe Lachman was not permitted to travel to the USA, but his wife, Vera Caplanova Lachman was granted permission to go to the USA.She was dealing with dementia at that time.
I would appreciate any help that anybody can give me.Please e-mail me asap.
With warm regard,
Lorilyn Lachman
