And it's all you need.
The reference to Minsk is a little bit off because it is in Belarus, now a country but formerly a province of Russia. I can say with 99% assurance that the location is certainly Lesowitsch (aka Lesowitschisna) in Volhynia, just south of Belarus. The Hass and David families in our databases were all living within close proximity to this village. One Hass family was living at Cholosna (aka Holosna), only 2 or 3 km from Lesowitsch. You can search these yourself at http://www.sggee.org/research/StPeteBirth.html Be aware that this database only goes up to 1885. Records after that are only available through personal research in Zhitomir or Kiev Archives.
If you refer to GOOGLE Maps, enter these coordinates 50.79107,28.567543 and you will go to the location where the modern spelling used is Lisivshchyna. If you browse just a little to the north and east you will see Kholosne. The original location of this village has moved a little because of the surface mining activity that you will see right next to it if you use satellite view.
Browse around that SGGEE website for more info. You might want to consider joining. There is also a free mailing list you can join where you can post more questions.
