Your posting is now a couple of years old, so hope you get this.
We share common ancestors, Jacob Russi and Katarina Wurz,
married 15th Nov 1785.
Their son David Russi, who married Margurethe Haerling, on 20th Sept 1825 is my great, great, great grand father.
Their son, another David born 17.March 1826 in Dierswim Baden, Germany, left for the USA, San Antonio, Texas. David's daughter Emma Russi, married Hermann Feisst(Faist).
On Emma's death Hermann brought his 7 sons to live in New Zealand. The youngest of those sons is my grandfather, Fred Fwisst. Fred was only 18 months old on arrival in New Zealand.
My own son, Matthew Williams, recently married a girl from New York and has gone to the US to live, returning in a sense.
If you would like to cntact me please feel free.
