Before I put the final touches to my work and have my Rushing books of family history printed, I would like to try once more to see if anyone out there has discovered data that would help me determine who were the parents of Laban Rushing, born ca. 1812 in North Carolina (probably Anson County). He married Rosannah Harrell ca. 1831 Anson Co., N. C., moved to Sumter Co., Ala., in 1839, and finally settled in Scott Co., Miss., between 1852 and 1854.
