Can't help you directly, but have traced my family back to Charles Rashbrooke(the final e seemed to get lost after him) born about 1810. He married Mary Clark in Colchester, Essex ( St Mary the virgin at the walls )and came from the parish of Boxted. His son John was born in Islington in 1850, he married Elizabeth Harriet Campbell at st Mark's Old Street 1876 my grandfather John Charles was their eldest son. Does any of this connect to you?
