My Alice Maud Mary Rushbrooke was born on August 14, 1871 in America. Her parents were James Arthur Rushbrooke and Eliza Jane Burleigh, who were married in Bellary, East India, on May 30, 1843. Alice was the youngest of their 11 children and the only one to be born in America. I have a little more on James but nothing more on Eliza and would love to exchange info. My mother was named Alice after Alice Maud Mary Rushbrooke.
