I am looking for help in locating any records relating to John Connard (or Conrad) Rush. He was married three times. His first marriage yielded 13 children. My ancestor is the 7th daughter and 13th child, Julia Ann Rush.
Elizabeth Humphries Rush, Julia's mother, died when she was approximately 2 years old (Julie was born in 1830).
I know so little but I do know that John C Rush was apparently affluent. He owned many properties in and around the Philadelphia area (including Germantown and Frankford).
I don't know what year John was born or when he died. I don't know how old he was when he died. According to family legend he and his third wife were tied back to back in chairs and murdered, supposedly by his step son.
Julia is buried under her married name, Julia Rogers, in the North Cedar Hills Cemetery. There are other Rush's burried there, but I don't know if they are related.
Any advice will be appreciated.
