According to my grandma's BC, her parents were Lindsey Rush and Beatrice Kline. both were 18 in 1926. He lived in Mogadorr(Mogadore) Ohio and worked as a bead something or other in an auto factory. She lived in Alliance and was a housewife.
Now in 1930, my grandma, Dorothy Mae Rush is listed in the census as a Kline, daughter, not granddaughter, and Beatrice is nowhere to be found.Lindsey, or at least *A* Lindsey is listed in Detroit, Michigan(which I have been told is where he lived following a second marriage after the death of Beatrice) He is listed as 22 and divorced, and is a boarder, working in construction.
Beatrice died very young, apparently before 1930, I do know she was pregnant and died of dropsy. Lindsey married a woman named Stella and to my knowledge, they lived in Detroit. I really hope that someone can help me out.
Thanks!! I kind of wonder if they really were divorced and my grandma was just so young that she didn't know.
