Seeking info on Johann Georg Ludwig Rupert. He lived in (and was probably born in)the village of Neersen in Hanover, Germany. His wife is unknown. He had a son, Georg Ludwig Rupert. The son was born in December of 1758 in Neersen and later joined the Waldeck Mercenaries who came to the US during the Revolution. The son married Elizabeth Pursley in Kentucky in 1786. Last name also spelled Ruppert in some records.
