Emanuel Ruple born of German ancestory on 10 Sept. 1807 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina.Died 1875. Emanuel met and married in Lowndes Co. Miss. His wife Asenath born 2 April 1827 d/o James and Elizabeth EVANS.They had 13 children.
1. Lycurgus Worth Ruple (Curg) born 10 Aug. 1854 Clairborne Parish, LA. Curg died 13 June (his wife's birthday) 1919 Faulkner Co.,Ark. After father's death 1875 Curg left for Arkansas. 1876 He was paying personal property taxes in Harve Twp. Faulkner Co. Ark.Where he met and married on 15 Jan. 1877 Queenie Isabella Bass born 13 June 1861 South Carolina. Died 27 May 1925 Faulkner Co. Ark.d/o Jesse B. Bass a Confederate Vdreran of the South Carolina Artillery
