I have recently bought a fantastic piece of limgoes porcelain that is handpainted and signed "L. Runyon, 1910" I assume this piece was painted in the United States and am hoping there might be a member of this message board that can help me to identify the artist. Limoges painting was often a cottage industry, produced mostly by women (and sometimes men too), in their homes then sold - some were listed on census records as professional artists, other artists have been identified through family records which brings me to this board. Does this sound familiar? If so, please send along an email - I'd love to give the artist the proper credit due. Thanks, Heather heathertimmonsbinder@yahoo.com Notify Administrator about this message?
