Thanks for the information. My line descends from Samuel and Charity's daughter, Nancy Alwilda Parks.
I'm an historian and librarian, and just started focusing on my own family's genealogy as part of a class project over the summer. Since the fall semester has begun, I haven't been able to get back to it yet, but I'm planning on continuing my investigation soon.
I went to Shaker Village last year on a class field trip and didn't know at the time that I was related to the Runyon family. I'd certainly like to go back now that I know I have ties there. It was exciting to find that out!
I appreciate you contacting me about this. Let me know if I can share any information with you, although I don't have much on the Runyon family as yet. It's nice to meet a distant relative!
