Hello! You and my husband are the great-great-grandchildren of Benjamin W. Runion. His mother is the granddaughter of Benjamin W.'s son Benjamin.Benjamin W. is buried in that cemetary we went there and made pictures one weekend (we live in Doniphan, MO).We printed a copy of your message for Dale's Mom and she sent us a letter to send you to see if you could answer questions that she has had for years. So here goes: 1. Were any of the men or women of Native American blood if they were not, what were they?2. Was there ever any talk of one of the male Runion's being a native American doctor. 3. Were they of Quaker faith? If not what faith?
4. Were any of the Runion's owners of slaves? She remembers her Aunt Nola (or Aunt Nollie as she called her) as being a diabetic she never knew that diabetics had to take shots until she was spending the night with her Aunt when Percy Wall died. She also said that Aunt Mathilda was called Aunt Tillie.
