Doc Rumph slave descendants

I am Caucasion and I am seeking African-American descendents of my gggg grandfather. I am descended from a "Doc" Rumph (Caucasian)of SC. My ggg grandmother, Sarah Sallie Huckabaa (Caucasian), had two children with Doc Rumph in or near Aiken co., SC. These children went by their mother's surname of Huckabaa because, according to what my ggrandfather told me, Sarah did not marry Doc because he already had a family with one of his slaves. I recently found a few handwritten notes that my mother (now deceased) made around 1980 while interviewing my ggrandfather and it had the notations "Doc Rumph" along with "2 colored women" & "Decatur". I would like to determine who this Doc Rumph was--I have found a James D. Rumph in Alabama who was a physician but his wife and children are listed as "white". Can anyone help or direct me to someone who can?
