Hi Tom,
Going through my records this is what I have on the Rumph's.There is a John Rumph in the 1860 Flatlands census he is 20 yr old He is not found in the 1860 census. There is about 20+ Cozines listed in the 1850 census Flatlands.I don't know if you have this.
Also, I have a Carmen Baldwin b 1823 married to Elizabeth Ryder b1825 the children are=Ann Amelia b 1851, George b 1847, Nathaniel b 1845, Ben b 1853, Chas 1855, Harriet, 1857, Agnes and Alice 1852.
I have read some of the other posts and don't know where Oscar fits in, but feel these people.are related.
By the way, have you seen the Canarsie Cemetary site? William J Rumph and Sarah E Rumph are in there with a pic of the headstone. If you haven't let me know I will send you the ink.
