I have Rumlers in Fulton Co. Illinois as follows:
Jacob Rumler, b.4/8/1815, MD, d. 12/20/1898, Fulton Co. IL. Buried at Wiley Cemetery in Deerfield Twp., married abt 1838 to Sarah Ann Zimmerman, b. 5/17/1818,MD d. 7/17/1898 in Fulton Co.IL., buried at Wiley Cemetery.
Their issue: (1) Andrew F. Rumler, b.3/11/1845 MD, d. 1/23/1935, Canton, Fulton Co. IL. He married 9/11/1867, Fulton Co. IL to Sarah Elizabeth Myers, b. 2/22/1848, d. 2/28/1927, Canton, Fulton Co. IL. They are both buried at Wiley Cemetery. (2) Sarah Ellen Rumler, b. 5/05/1848, Carroll Co. MD., m. Fulton Co. IL., to William Myers (3) George M. Rumler, b.6/21/1853, OH., d. 1905 (4) Luticia C. Rumler, b.abt 1855, m. Fulton Co.IL to John Marston Knott, both buried at Wiley Cemetery (5)Lydia Rumler, b. abt 1861, m. to Joseph Andrew Gilmore.

I am a Zimmerman researcher. If this could be your Rumler family, I have additional information.
