Happy New Year all,
Have a bit of a mystery. My father Francis Alan Ruggles recently died. His Father Frank Gilbert Ruggles was the son of William Hastings Ruggles (son of Gilber Thomas/Son of Richard *b 1783) Son of Richard Son of Timohthy). Anyway, William Hastings Ruggles had a daughter Luella Ruggles (b 1896). In most info I have seen I see know mention of my grandfather. (Luella married Charlie Arthur Potter adn had 3 daughters and a son) Anyway, something happened in bear river nova scotia as my Grandfather left NS and never said a word to his family and never spoke to his sister for 40 yrs. Can someone help me with the mystery of something happening, hopefully prove my Grandfather is son of William Hastings Ruggles.. Maybe put me in touch with Luella's line? I am the last surviving male of my line. thanks!
