"The burro on his headstone is symbolic of Grandpa's many years as a prospector and miner around C.C. and Nevada... The burro that attended his services, braying that heart-wrenching farewell, was truly a specter none attending will EVER forget! Eeery!!! " (Old Middle Cemetery) Marker existed on July 17, 1999
