You can download "The Descendants of John Rugge" by Ellen R Rugg, Leominster, MA via Heritage Quests Books tab in increments of 50 pages at a time limitation.
If you do not have access to HQ, I have downloaded pgs 332-342 to cover the missing pages 333-341 and can send them electronically to you.
You mentioned your Ruggs are from Alabama? I'm wondering if your from Solomon Rugg who left MA, migrated to Connecticut, then later to South Carolina? His grandson(s) may have been a part of the family tribe of Ruggs that ended in Union Parish, Louisiana by 1850 that came the southern route of South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi to Louisiana?
I was researching this for a descendant from Union Parish, LA and came upon a brick wall about Alabama/Georgia in early 1800's.
Please contact me at: [email protected]
You can download these pages from Heritage Quest if your local public library's Genealogy dept. has access for patrons? It is free access with my library card.
