Sorry, but I don't have any information on the Ruffin family yet (except for Ann E. Ruffin). I have never come across the name Cain.
I will ask a friend of mine who has done quite a bit of Ruffin work here in VA and see if she has come across that name.
Would love to be in touch with William John Avery who has done some much work on the Ruffin family if possible.
