I am researching the Nelson family of Mississippi and Louisiana, mine is a Richard Nelson born cir 1815 La. married 1842 La. to St.Helena Barrett, looking for proof of parents.

There is a will in Adams, Amite or Wilkinson Co., Ms. that a William H. Ruffin is the Administrator of a William Nelson (do not have my notes infront of me but I believe the first name was William). Do you have any information where the Nelson family is related?
