Edward L (Ted) Rudisill has published a great book about the family. I don't remember the exact price but it was about average for a book of this sort. (I have several). It has over 800 pages of well organized material -- and over 36 spellings of the name. On my Great Grandfather's handwritten marriage license it is spelled in his own writing, three different ways.
