Sue and Amanda:

My first known documented family member in North America is William Ruddock who with wife Alice (surname unknown) arrived in Penn's colony shortly after 1700 from Ireland (?). They are found in what is now Adams County as active members of the Quaker community. From this point forward I have good documentation. I am still unabled to identify where William came from however the results of my personal DNA testing have placed the focus upon County Armagh, Ireland because of several yDNA matches with family lines from that county.

Lewis M. Ruddick
