Per our e-mails. I have never seen any credible evidence that the Ruddock families found in Down, Armagh and Antrim counties are descendant from Andrew Ruddock of County Cork (or even a common ancestor of Andrew). If someone has documentation (either traditional, property, church, bible records, etc or DNA) to support this idea, I'd be interested in seeing it. But for now, Andrew of Cork appears to be different from the Ruddock's of the North.

(Descendant of James and Eliza (Joyce) Ruddock who married in Seagoe Parish, Co. Armagh in 1810.
