We share the feelings expressed about looking into the Thomas Ruddells. It’s been a mystery to us for some time. I’m afraid all we can add are some miscellaneous pieces of information in hopes that some will help complete the puzzle.

And in 1823 Cornelius and Thomas Ruddell were joint grantees of 295 acres “on the west side of the Great Calf Pasture adjoining lands formerly belonging to Stephen Riddle.” This could be any one of several Ruddells named Cornelius.
