This information is taken from research done by my mother in the 1960's it list 1st. generation Thomas Ruddell came to Virginia in the eartly 1700's abord the ship Levitt with a Captain Bagwell as Commander. He lived in Culpepper County Va. Children were John, Cornelius, George. ps. There is a Sarah Ruddell listed on Ancestry as being in the US in the year 1623. She may have been the Daughter of Rev.George and Elizabeth Ruddell who died on a ship who's name I cannot remember on there way to the English Colonies. I found Rev George Ruddell on a ship listed from the web as Ships from Bahamas
