Sorry I am late answering your Message.
Thank you for the information. Thanks to you I found Wm. G. Musick on the 1860 census for Montague Co., TX. Could not find John R. Musick on the 1860 census for Wise Co., TX. Found Susanna Belleu in Sevier Co., AR.
You listed Wm. G. Musick's wife as Matilda. Is this for sure? I know his father John M. Musick married 2nd to a Matilda and they had 7 children. In John M. Musick's will he list John R. Musick as his first born child. Susanna Belleu as his second born and Wm. G. Musick as his third born child. Where did you find where they lived in 1860?

I sure don't have any idea why George Ruddell, Sr. was raising Abraham Ruddell's children. Could there be two Abraham Ruddells? No, guess not, because legal records state George was their grandfather.

I think I mentioned about Robert B. Musick and George Ruddell's Texas Land Grants joined in Cherokee Co.?

I will go back to library and see if I can find anything more.

Do you have or have you seen any information connecting the Ruddells with Asa Musick in Lawrence and Independence Cos. AR?

Cassie
