Hi, I'm a descendant of the Kentucky RUDDELLs. Just wanted to pass along some information I've found. It may or may not be of help to anyone.

In the 1820 Kentucky Census, Harrison Co., Marysville, Series M33, Roll: 23, pg: 115, there is a William RUDDELL.

In the 1840 Kentucky Census, Estill, no twp listed, Series M704, Roll: 109, pg: 56, there are two RIDDELLs listed (hard to read though). Their first names are William and Robert.

My gr-gr-gr-grandfather's name was William Henry RUDDELL, b. 11 January 1805, d. 11 September 1859. Parents: Stephen A. RUDDELL, b. 1768, d. 1840 or 1845 and Susan DAVID, b. 1780, d. bef. 1834. His wife was: Elizabeth HESTER, b. 27 February 1810, d. 25 November 1902.

Any connections? If so, contact me here or better yet, e-mail me.

Janette Birch nee HELTSLEY
