Jim, I have searched ship recoards the past couple days and am sorry to say I found no ship by that name. My info came to me from papers handed down to me by my mother. Where she got the info I do not know. But I have come upon some interesting info on Archibald Riddell. The Rev. Archibald Riddell. Two different accounts. In 1685 the Rev. Archibald Riddell left New Castle Leigh, Scotland on the ship Henry and Francis to Perth Ambay , New Jersey. The second acount list the Rev. and Mrs. Archibald Riddell as not surving. I'll send a page on the afair if you like. Also I have come across one William Riddle a ship owner who owned 1 ship and was part owner in several others. It appears he and his son WM jr. were slave traders sailind fron the Bahamas to the mainland. Company name WM Riddle & Co.. Jerry
