Elizabeth, John Ruddell was the ncestor of many of the Ruddell-Riddell-Ruddle-Riddle people in America. The Ruddell and other spellings came originally from Rudhall, Ross-on-Wye, Herfordshire. HR97TL. If I can help you more, just contact me at nategre81@csweb.net. Nathan.
