Hi Bill,
I am not sure that I have what you are looking for off the top of my head but here goes!My Grandfather's sister was Lillie Belle Edwards. She married a man named Hollis Rudd in Carroll County AR around the turn of the century I believe. They had at least two children, daughters, Imogene, and Madge. But, here is where it gets really interesting...Lillie died young, and Hollis was shot dead in Green Forest, Carroll County AR in March (19th I think), 1927, one day after or the evening of the biggest tornado in Green Forest history! It was said that he was interested in another man's wife; the man supposedly owned a service station (again, I am trying to recall from memory - & I don't have too much of that left tonight!), and it is said that Hollis went "looking for trouble".I don't know how true that part is, as I have not read the articles.Hollis & Lillie (and one? of their daughters) are buried in Fairgrove Cemetery, Green Forest, Carroll County AR.I believe that their daughters were fairly young.Anyhow, if you think this may be your line, then I will dig up all of the specifics.I have a fair amount of info on Lillie Belle Edwards parents/siblings too. Please feel free to email me or reply to the post. Please let me know if you think it is, as I would love to know what happened to Imogene. Thanks & Best of luck!
