Donald- I found Oscar listed in the TX Death Index 1903-2000, death cert. #45131, Palo Pinto Co. Full name was Oscar Thornton Rucker. Also found an O.T. Rucker and an N.M. Norton in the TX Marriage Collection 1814-1909. Marriage date 28 June 1877 in Parker, TX. I tried searching Missouri records for an 1860 or 1870 census listing a Nannie Norton. Came up with a Nancy b. about 1854. Could Nannie be a nickname?
