Do you know the nationality of your Ruberts? I have seen that surname from France, Germany, Italy, and Iran. Has your surname been found spelled any other way? Do you know of any family trade that was passed down, or heard through oral history of your family? Sometimes answers to these questions can open up a whole new area of research for you.
