Felipa Rubalcava 12/15/02
Hi, My name is Wilfreta Rubalcava,
my married name is Scheetz. I am the granddaughter of Margarito Ruiz Rubalcava(Margarito changed the spelling of his last name later to Rubalcaba).I have just started Genealogy research on Rafael Rubalcava born about 1864 and Felipa Ruiz of Yahualico, Jalisco, Mexico. Rafeal and his three sons Andres, Margarito, Jose Cesearo, This is the information I have, It may not be 100% accurate, Rafeal and his three sons came to the United States around <1901>,after the death of his wife Felipa, he left his two daughters in Mexico. They lived about 6 years in the Brownsville, Texas area and then migrated to the Delta, Colorado Area where Margarito married Ysabel Archuleta, Daughter of Dimetro Archuleta and Maria Coucision Rodriguez also called Chomita(later called Mary)Rodriguez, they raised 10 children. In about 1949 He settled down on a farm in Olathe, Colorado. After 1920,I believe Rafael and two married sons(I believe Andres married by the first name of Beatrice and Jose Cesearo married a women by the first name of Consisla)moved to Arizona and settled down in that state. I saw this posting and I believe we share enough information to say we are cousins. I was excited to find a relative. I know this is a late reply, since your posting was made in 2002,but if you read this Felipa or any other family relative with similar ties please contact me. May be working together we can learn more about our ancestors.
