I've come to the conclusion that Broderbund is making money by the bushel full, and seems to have no regard for people with problems. I dumped my FTM - both PC and Mac versions - a long time ago.

Reunion is the premiere program for the Macintosh. It is now into version 7.0. It's PC counterpart, Generations, looks, feels and runs almost identical to Reunion.

Best of all - the most recent versions of both programs allow you to exchange files between platforms WITHOUT relying on Gedcom.
