PAF files to Mac "Reunion"

I have my genealogy files on an old PAF (Mormon) system that requires the Classic Environment of Mac OS 9. I have just bought a new Mac that no longer runs Classic, thereby rendering my files locked. The reviews of Reunion for Mac seem to be generally positive. My question is whether anyone has had experience exporting files from an old Personal Ancestral File program into a new Reunion for Mac system. Like so many people who have written to this forum, I cannot bear the thought of typing in hundreds of names with strange spellings as well as endless strings of dates.
