Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I don't know about the World family tree but I have very successfully posted my gedcoms to Gencircles using Reunion 7 and 8 and exporting as a gedcom. I wonder if you have your FTM gedcom on a zipdrive, if you could just import it into Reunion. I just checked my program and it seems Reunion will input text, gedcoms and family files.
