I use PAF 4 on a PC and had no problem importing a large gedcom from Reunion ? on a Power Mac. The reverse did not go quite as well for some reason, but I frequently have that trouble importing FTM gedcoms. If you have a problem, you can just open a gedcom from each program with a text program and compare the first ten lines or so. Then just add or delete any extra lines to match up the header portion. That has always worked for me! Just be sure to use a backup copy of each gedcom to experiment with. (Just entering one family in a new file should be enough to generate a gedcom.)

If you have been making do with PAF 2 and can get a cheap copy of Reunion 7 to learn with go for it! They will probably be up to version 9 or later before you learn how to use all the new features in 7.
