Hi Dean;

I'm certainly no expert, and not sure I'm reading your message correctly...BUT...I was originally using Reunion software, then went to Generations 4.2 with no problems at all. Then, about a year ago, I upgraded to Generations Beginners' Edition 8.0..again, GREAT! The reason I went with the Beginner's Edition 8.0 as opposed to Deluxe 8.0 as 1) Beginner's was much cheaper! and 2) Deluxe came with tons of CD's that I thought were totally unnecessary, as some of them are available online for free anyway.

Not sure what you meant by "no longer supported"....as I said, I have upgraded twice now, and its been great...a couple of little glitches, but fixed almost immediately with the help of Sierra's website.
