Your Generations program was originally put on the market by Leister
Productions as the PC equivalent of the Reunion for Macintosh program which
I use and they still make. Leister sold off Generations to Sierra some years
ago. Users of Reunion and Generations say that they are still very similar
even today so we should not have too much difficulty exchanging information.

THIS INFORMATION WAS SENT TO ME BY A RELATIVE USING REUNION FOR MAC. I RUN GENERATIONS 8.0 ON MY PC. WE EXCHANGE INFORMATION REGULARLY. TRY EXPORTING YOUR FAMILY FILE AS A GEDCOM FILE TO A RELATIVE USING A PC, AND SEE IF THEY CAN IMPORT IT INTO A NEW PC FAMILY FILE.
IT HAS ALWAYS WORKED FOR US.
