Dear Mr. Paul Burchfield, Genealogy.com Technical Support,

I beg to disagree with you!!!!!
The name of this forum is "Reunion Software Genealogy Forum" if you care to look at the forum that you are posting to.
REUNION was not always a MAC version. It was a WINDOWS Version long before it became a MAC Version.
I am a disgruntled REUNION 4.0 WINDOWS user!!!!!!!
I have three geneology programs:

1. Reunion 4.0 Windows Version

2. FTM 7.5 Windows Version

3. Family Origins 8.0 Windows Version

I like them all. Each one has capabilities that I like.
In my humble opinion, Family Origins is probably the best program, especially since it only cost $19.95.
But, WHY did LEISTER sell the WINDOWS Version & hang all of it's WINDOWS customers out to dry!!!!!!!
I was having a problem with my program & I called LEISTER's customer service long distance (they didn't even have a toll free number). All I got was the run-around about them no longer owning the WINDOWS version.
I have tried to export GEDCOM files from REUNION to FTM & Family Origins only to have them either rejected or garbled.
Before you blame FTM or Family Origins, remember that REUNION touted it's ability to transfer GEDCOM files to other programs that supported GEDCON transfer.
I don't know how the MAC version works, but if it doesn't have the capability to print 'book type' geneology records, it's way behind FTM & FAMILY ORIGINS.
