G'Day Denise,

I am a ggg-gs of Thomas Royston and Mary Cooper via their firstborn, Mary Ann. Are we related?

I have not yet checked the parish registers but the IGI shows that baptisms at Stuntney for the following children of Thomas and Mary.

1. Mary Ann (1820).
2. James (1821).
3. Charles (1823).
4. John (1825).
5. William (1828).
6. Sarah (1830).
7. Sarah (1833).
8. Phoebe (1835).
9. Charles (1839).

The 1871 census record shows that Ann, wife of William, was 36 and born in Littleport. (Sorry. I don't know her maiden name.) It also shows that their second son was William Edward (not Edmund), age 7 months. The FreeBMD website shows the registration of William Edward's birth in the September quarter 1870.

David in Sydney, Australia.
