I am looking for information on the family of Thomas W. Royster born in TN in 1827 the son of Thomas Royster. The family lived in Monroe County, MO in 1840 and by 1850 Thomas W. had moved to Independence, MO. In 1856 he married Sallie A. Scruggs and in 1859 a son N. F. Royster was born. In 1862 Thomas W. enlisted in the Confederate Army becoming a Lt. He died aa Jan 1863 at the Battle of Hartville, MO.
If anyone has any information as to the ancestors of Thomas I would appreciate their help.
