I am interested in your Royse Family History.
My great-great-grandmother was Sarah (Royce) Ramey.
She was married to Samuel Ramey on March 27, 1846 in Morgan Co.,KY. They were in Census: 1850- Morgan Co,Ky.
1860- Bath Co., Ky, 1870-??. 1880-Greenup Co,KY as widow.
I believe she is related to Benjamin Royce(48) and Elizabeth (45)-because: 1) 1850 lived near each other. 2) Sarah and Samuel first child was named Benjamin. 3) also had a child named Fleming (like her brother's name and unusual name).
In 1850 MORGAN CO.,KY CENSUS- also appears:John ROYCE (80) wife Mary (75) both born in PA. in # 126 Geo & Elizabeth McDaniel home,#144 Benj.& Elizabeth ROYCE and family, #155 Samuel and Sarah RAMEY and family,
#158 John ROYCE (43)& Anna(33) and family. In Sarah (Royce)
[Royse/ Rice ] RAMEY marriage lic. her last name is written as different spellings.
I would like to know if anyone has more information on these families and how they are related or any knowledge of them, or other relatives.
