I'm sure not too many people know about the Royse Family from Rowan County, KY and hopefully we can help find out who our ancestors were and where they came from exactly. I remember my grand father telling the story of his grandfather or great-grandfather moving into Kentucky from Virginia or possibly West Virginia. I can check with my father when he comes home from work this evening and find out the facts. I don't have too many names or dates right at this moment, but I am going to a cemetery where my great grandparents are buried to look at some of the headstones. I will list my parents, grandparents, my great grandparents, and great great grandparents in this post to hopefully help you out until I find out some more of the older generations' children's names in the next couple of days and try to get it posted as soon as possible.
