My 4th ggrandfather, William Rowsey, was supposedly born in Rockbridge County, Virginia in 1801 and he married Eleanor Smith there in 1825. I have not been able to link him to any parents. Many listings either start with him or link him to John (1740 or 45 - 1815) but this has not been proven. Any help would be appreciated!
