Hi Chuck, Your evidence sounds very convincing. I hope you can find a definate answer. I have found 13 children born to Judah and Jemima. Asa, Rachel, Rhoda(Roda), Ruth, Jesse Sr., Amos, Judah, Joel, Asaph, Jeduthan, Ezra, Jacob and Solomon. I don't know who the 5th female would be in the census. Does it give an age group for the 5 females? I actually found this at the Rowley Geneology site. I had some information and the website more or less confirmed what I had. If you haven't been there, it is a great place to go. Here is the address, just in case you haven't found it, http://www.rowleyresearch.org/ I have run into a road block in my search also. I go from Jesse Sr. to James to David and cannot find proof that David is the son of James and Rosanna (Sally) Carr Rowley. David was born in 1827 and James died before 1830 as Rosanna was head of household in the 1830 Woodhull, Stueben County, NY Census. David is listed in Jesse Sr.'s will as a grandson and Sally is listed as David's mother in his obituary, but no father is mentioned. I cannot find any info on Rosanna Carr. I have been away from genealogy for about a year and have just gotten back into it hoping to find some new leads. Good luck and if you are researching the Rowleys I will be happy to send you what I have. Vicki Notify Administrator about this message?
