This is the information I have. Richard M. Rowlands, born 11-19-1840, near Machynlleth, Montgomeryshire North Wales. Died July 25, 1920 near Burrton, KS. Married Jane Jones of Aberystwyth, May 11, 1865. Came to US in May 1870 living in Emporia, KS. 1871 filed homestead near Burrton, KS. Children: Mary Ellen, Elizabeth, William, Richard A.,Jane and 3 others who died at a young age. Richard M. is my mother's great-grandfather - Mary Ellen is her grandmother. I am searching for family information. Especially the family of Wales.
