I would like to know if anyone is related or is researching the same family tree of my great-grandfather RICHARD WILLIAM ROWLANDS born in Bangor in 1843 in Frondeg Street (1851 Census) Richard left beautiful Wales for adventure and landed up in Ceylon. He married a Dutch Burgher woman named Mary Hope Bracken or Van Bracken in 1861 and it is said that they boughta Tea Plantation in the Hill Country. Richard's parents were William Rowlands b 1813 in Beaumaris and Mary Jane Williams b 1814 Beaumaris.
